Since 1983, GRCN Connecting Communities has been assisting at-risk youth develop the life skills needed to lead productive lives once they become adults. We are a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of our young people and our communities. We partner with community-based organizations to help enhance the lives of our youth and transform communities. Our Mission is to assist at-risk youth with their transition into adulthood by teaching coping skills through theater and the performing arts, assist parents develop parenting skills to provide appropriate care for their families, and provide life skills to those we are entrusted to serve, in a safe and supportive environment. Our Team includes professionals from many disciplines who offer a unique style of promoting quality of life transformation. Our Clinical Psychologist, Probation Officers and Counselors use theater performance to promote positive change with former gang members and at-risk youths. We incorporate principals from Life Thru The Arts Training Guide that promotes teaching life skills through the performing arts. We use workshops, skits and plays to teach the skills needed to have a successful future. We rely on generous donations from people like you who want to help improve the lives of our youth and transform our communities.
